Looks like that can't be fixed upstream. But maybe we can add some special ubuntu patches.

  New

Bug description:
  Moving elements is visible and ugly on gnome-panel in trusty(14.04)
  gnome-fallback, package version 1:3.8.0-1ubuntu12.1. Same gnome-panel
  works OK in 12.04. Look screenshot for more plain explanation.
