Title:
  Installing pitivi marks many unrelated packages for removal

Status in pitivi package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  When attempting to install pitivi package using Synaptic, what looks
  to be most if not all installed packages are marked for removal. From
  aisleriot to zenity. Then errors out because required package gnome-
  icon-theme is not going to be installed. Maybe a corruption in the
  package database?
