tested by Dell Inspiron 3542 (CID 201402-14684) on 14.04 and 14.10
daily build
Steps to reproduce the bugs:
1. install the system
2. click 'Software center'-->Preference-->Additional drivers,
or, use the command 'ubuntu-driver list'
Expected result:
the system should suggest nvidia-graphics-drivers-331 driver package because
there is a nvidia graphic card

It didn't suggest any graphic driver to be used.

doesn't give you the expected modalias of the graphic card under sysfs
* manual installation of nvidia-331 could enable the graphic card and
works fine.
