  Can't Select USB Microphone as Input

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-media

  How to Reproduce:

  - Plugin a USB Microphone (such as Logitech AK5370)
  - Launch Sound Recorder
  - USB Microphone is not shown as a selection option under "Record from Input" Listbox.

  The Logitech Microphone shows correctly as device AK5370 in the Volume
  Control and works correctly with Skype, Audacity etc...

  Expected Behavior:

  The recording application should allow the option to select input
  sources other than the default soundcard in the system.
