[Bug 133133] Re: "Open containing folder" is only working if nautilus is present
I think more about stupidity that malice.
Firefox is not a Qt/KDE application but rather a GTK+ one. Some packager thinks that if you use Firefox you obviously are willing not only to install the full GNOME bag of stuff, but also ditching KDE in favor of it.
When I install Firefox, I am not asking for anything but Firefox. If I have program X to browse directories, I wish I keep it as it is.
Firefox package(r) instead thinkis he knows more than I do.

Binary package hint: firefox
Tools->Downloads-> (Right click)->Open containing folder
Result: Nothing happens (not even an error).
Expected: An error, a dialog asking to choose a file manager or just konqueror showing the folder.
Fix: add the following line to prefs.js
user_pref("network.protocol-handler.app.file", "konqueror");
