Message #97473
[Bug 1416185] Re: --app option opens blank page.
Issue was not including protocol with URL - e.g. with "chromium-browser
--app=google.com" vs. "chromium-browser --app=http://google.com", the
latter one (including http://) works.

Title:
--app option opens blank page.
Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
When passing the --app option, with the URL parameter, a blank page is
opened.
Example command: "$ chromium-browser --app=google.com"
This happens whether or not a session exists prior and at the time of
running the command.
Expected behavior, according to the manual:
"Runs URL in app mode: with no browser toolbars."
