Bug description:
Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal with ppa:unity-team/sru
Issue: When installing a new application, software centre pushes the
icon to the the top of the launcher near dash before adding it to the
bottom end of the launcher near switcher icon instead of directly
pushing it to a defined launcher location.
See attached video.
Action:
- Open software centre
- Choose any application, for example - GIMP/ Chromium/ CCSM
- Click on install
- Observe
