Title:
Regression r3320+: Cubeaddon: Cube caps now need enabled VBOs to be
rendered correctly, without them visual glitches occur

Status in Compiz:
  In Progress
Status in Compiz 0.9.11 series:
  New
Status in compiz package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  [How to reproduce]

  1. Enable cube, rotate, cubeaddon in CCSM
  2. Disable OpenGL -> Framebuffer object
  3. Initiate the cube

  [What should happen]

The cube should be rendered correctly.

  [What actually happens]

The cube caps rendering produces massive artifacts.

  Note:
Probably the easiest solution would be to prevent the cube caps from being rendered and print a message to the console to inform about it, if FBOs are disabled.
Most probably this is not the best solution as the rendering of the cube caps *should* be possible without VBOs as well.
