Custom indicators not shown after restarting Unity
Status in Unity:

Bug description:
Tested on Unity 7.1.2+14.04.20140328.1-0ubuntu1
If Unity restarts, either by crashing or manually with "restart unity-
panel-service" or "unity --replace", when Unity comes back, I can no
longer see my custom indicators. I am still able to see the default
indicators (sync, messages, sound, datetime, and session), but not the
ones I have installed: sensors, cpufreq, multiload, weather, etc.
These indicators are still running and appear in the process list, I
just can't see them in the panel. I still see notifications from
them. If I kill and restart any of these indicators, they run fine,
but I still cannot see them in the panel. The only way I have found
to get them back is to completely log out and back in.
I can't figure out what differentiates these "custom" indicators from
the default ones that would cause them not to appear. With weather-
indicator, I even created an upstart job to control it. If no one
else is able to reproduce this, please let me know how best to debug
it further.
