  fn + f10-12 generate string of characters instead of adjusting sound

Bug description:
  When the sound is adjusted with fn + f10, f11 or f12 buttons,
  sometimes a string of letters is generated in the current writing box
  instead of sound adjustement (i.e.
  "hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhcccccccccccccccccc")
