As we're obviously not quite there yet: do we have an aproximate time as to
when we're moving to Java 8? I'm starting to see real (language level)
benefits in moving, as well as a few bugs which are not likely to get fixed
in JDK 7 (specifically file system access has a few problems on some
platforms).
