Public bug reported:

The new JQuery based dropdown menu works fine in Firefox, IE7 and Opera,
but not in WebKit based browsers like Safari, Chrome or Konqueror. In
those browsers, if you move the mouse over the menu and away again
without clicking on a menu item, the browser crashes.
