Yes i did the specified change what you have suggested that is go to
user setting and choose or set sort order to 'custom'  but again when i
come back to the dataelement page and doing the same operation of
sorting the result gets the same that is unsuccessful sorting of data
element.

and now i am also going to write a blueprint that like System setting ,
User Setting also must have latest one "save" button.

Bug description:
Data Elements and Indicator --> Data Element --> Sort Button

And here when i click Sort Button and start changing the data element short order but it looks that the order has been changed but when i come back to the dataelement page here i did not find the desired change in the order of specified datalement.

It means it is not working properly. and worse thing is that this bug is about to include in the DHIS2 Indian version local application which is going to be used by lots of non technical users.
