Re: [Bug 507435] Re: data-broswser-drilldown
Dear Lars,
Jason and I, we have just a long discussion about Drill down in Data
Browser. Finally, I think we should change using the calendar interface to
use the original list of period type and the list of
Here is the summary of content in quote:
*"So better to just present a list of periodtypes and then a list of all
periods which correspond to that periodtype and allow them to select
multiple periods. Sort of like the datamart.*
*I think that would make more sense might be a problem with daily data. Best
to check with the list maybe".
*
I do agree this also. In this simple way, we should have not worried in
making the user is misleading, don't worry about the periods which do not
exist in database by somehow or something likes that. With this way, we let
the user to know what's exactly data browser is using for* !
*Maybe, there will be a big change on this function.*
*
Btw, maybe still needed you help in SQL query, Jason.
Thank you all !

Bug description:
Databrowser orgunit mode does not work at all, it shows 0 for all orgunits disregard of input parameters.
>From Jason:
Using the Sierra Leone database, I selected "Monthly" time periods, followed by April 1 2009- August 31 2009 and then clicked "Bo" then Browse. I then selected "Badija" and this was returned.
Total No of pregnant women 0
Total Population 0
Total population < 1 year 0
Total population < 5 years 0
Total population women of child bearing age 0
However, if I select "Badija" from the beginning, I get this..
OrganisationUnit 01 Apr 2009 01 May 2009 01 Jun 2009 01 Jul 2009 01 Aug 2009
Njandama MCHP 0 0 22 143 133
Ngelehun CHC 242 232 247 228 201
I can then click Ngelehun CHC and get back a crosstab table listing each data element submitted by month.
I would think that this is a drill-down function, but something seems to go awry somewhere.
