I am not sure I understand what you mean here.

I went to the online demo (running 2.0.4) and created a new dataset with
sections, and in data entry I ticked 'Use section form'.
This form seems to work as expected, it has green color when saving, and the
values are saved.
(I am not sure why the default start view for sections forms is to hide the
data elements and just show the section headers as links, is that always
desired?)

Use the first facility of the first district and first chiefdom, which is
Ngelehun CHC and the data set called 'Dataset with sections test'.
