As Knut says, this is not currently possible.

The solution would be to detach your database from your development
instance, and attach it to your production instance, unless there is a
compelling reason that you would have two seperate databases?

It should also possible to perform a manual dump of the database
tables, but  I am sure this has not been documented.

I am trying to migrate the meta data and data from the development instance into
