Usually, SQL views are developed in some sort of query tool, such as
pgAdminIII . Ideally, one would just simply copy and paste the query
into the SQL view definition window, however each time I try and do
this, I receive a message informing me "Please enter a value between 1
and 255 characters long." I am not sure why the copy and paste function
does not work, nor does it seem to make a lot of sense of why a query is
restricted to 255 characters. In the model, the field which stores the
query is "text".
