Thanks. We would like the UI to be 50 characters to come up with some
meaningful short names.

No it is not. if you need this, you will need to remerge revision 4566
and produce your own war.

It was not accepted by the dev team and reverted, as they want to
maintain 50 chars in the DB for legacy reasons and 25 in the UI.
