Public bug reported:

This happens when there is a single-event with registration program and
the "auto-generate event" option in the single stage definition is not
set. It crashes when trying to enroll a patient in this way:

1- Add a patient in the "Find/add person" module
2- Enroll that person in the program

The system freezed when a "Loading..." message.

It works fine if the patient is added in the "single-event with
registration" module. In this case, the stage is generated automatically
even if the "auto-generated event" option is not set.

I've checked this in the online demo application
