Bug description:
  When attempting to send an SMS message with Clickatell in a complex
  script (i.e. Hindi), the characters are not rendered properly.

  Steps to reproduce.

  1) Go to translate.google.com and translate "This is a test message" from English to Hindi, which results in 
  यह एक परीक्षण संदेश है. 

  2) Send this message through DHIS2 using a Clickatell gateway.

  3) Escaped, plain text characters are displayed in the phone (even
  though it supports Hindi UNICODE).

  4) Send the same Hindi message through Skype, and the message is
  displayed properly.
