Hi Lars,

Thanks but those are the exact settings i have for the data element. I cleared my cache and re-opened the form and it's the same tiny box staring at me. I even tried setting the text width to a number say 100 within the form designer and still no effect.
I am using DHIS2 2.12 build 11183 on a cloud (BAO systems) hosting service. Web browser = Chrome.

Hi John,

please go the data dictionary module, edit data element, set value type to "text" and text type to "long text", then open your form. You might need to clear browser cache.
