  Event analytics requests fails for missing tables

Bug description:
  Requests to the event analytics API fail if the span periods which
  refers to table partitions which don't exists. This is unfortunate for
  instance in the case where data exist for year a and b, and a query
  spans year a, b, c - they query should not fail but rather return data
  for the years which have data.
