Hi Prosper, this works well on my machine and on the demo. There is no
caching involved for messages so that should not be a problem per se. This
stuff is admittedly not 100% ideal yet as we don't do background checks for
read messages, so it is possible to get a wrong perception by reading
messages in another browser tab.
