Hi, 

I also cringed at the change and can imagine the change management that will happen with end users. Like Prosper said….its really cool on touchscreens but not really on non-touch screens – can a global setting allow interface to be selected for touch screens or desktop?

This is very good addition but we have tested the interface with the local desktop users and it was very inconveniencing, they are used to pointing and picking from the list.

 

This will be very difficult to upgrade without retraining end users.

 

Its a suggestion that you can consider, the button are not cools when using desktops but cool on smart phone and majority of the users are desktops.

in latest 2.15 build we included a search field at the top of the menu which allows you to type in the app you are looking for, then hit enter.

 

You can also click "more apps" and arrange the order of the apps according to your preferences.
