Looks like it may be related to the bug which Morten was working on but
maybe a bad period.

What does this return?

SELECT a.startdate,a.enddate,b.name as periodtype from period a
INNER JOIN periodtype b on a.periodtypeid = b.periodtypeid where
a.startdate = '2015-04-01';
