secure implementations of DHIS2 (HIPAA)

We’ve just become aware of DHIS2 and are just beginning to explore it for use in our organization.

We are subject to HIPAA regulations for most of our data collection. Does anyone have experience with DHIS2 implementations that have a level of security that would satisfy HIPAA (256-bit SSL, individualized logins, granular permissions, administrative controls, etc.)?

We’re also very interested to hear about any implementations that allow for offline/online use in remote areas with spotty internet connections.

Any information would be much appreciated. Thank you,

Mike Nation
