Hi Madhuka,

If you already managed to build the project from sources, you should look into list of existing issues on github. It could be great if you could make small contribution as a proof of understanding the codebase. 

Other than that, you should also start writing draft version of proposal. Please, submit it through GSoC portal, so mentors can provide you feedback on it.

I have some past experiences for those adding mapping and more chart libraries plugins for appache zeppelin[2]. I have development HTML5 offline email system few years ago and it much same to second requirement and Here I am sharing my RP[3] and there indexed database was used. 

I like to know preferred licenses  and any other preferred and options library for this task from the community? I like to know my next step also.

Hi,

I'm Udantha, MSc. Student at University of Moratuwa. This GSoC 2016 project captures my interest. 
I have abundant experiences of visualization techniques creating numerous dashboards, charts[1,2] with javascript, angularJS and d3, etc[2,3]. I am also familiar with SOA, WS[2] and REST APIs. My past experience in GSoC project in 2015 [2].

I have SCMAD and I have plenty of experience in android application development but not in open source (Sample app screen shoots are attached). I like to work in this project and I like to be guide for proposal and to get much idea on the project.
