Re: Dataset level attributes under smartphone and Android Data Capture app
Hi Jason,
Hope you’re well.
We have been trying the smart phone app and android data capture. From what I can see neither of these options allow us to enter dataset level attributes (cat combos). Just tested the mobile light and seems that’s also the same. The PDF form download/import also does not allow for attributes.
Going to be a challenge as means we have no low bandwidth option available to us for aggregate reporting. Not sure what others have done to get around this? I suppose not use dataset level attributes.
Araz mentioned yesterday in response that this is on the roadmap but with no fixed version yet.
Look forward to seeing the feature as will be very valuable for us in many contexts.
Cheers
Craig

Hi Craig,
Do you mean for the Smartphone or "Light" apps for aggregate data entry?
Regards,
Jason

Hi, I wondered if there are any plans to implement dataset level attributes for aggregate reporting in any of the mobile options. It seems at present this is not possible which somewhat limits their use for us.
I had a quick look through the launchpad blueprints but can’t seem to find anything on the subject.
Cheers
Craig
