Disabling self-registration not possible in new settings app?

Hi devs, 
it’s possible that I’m just being a bit dumb, but how do I disable self-registration in the "new" settings app? I assume that the way to do it is to remove the selecting from the "Self registration account user role" drop-down, but I’m not able to do that (using chrome).
