It is intentional. The "number" option for indicators caused a great deal
of confusion to people so we decided to simply remove it. You can just put
1 as the denominator.

This I will say is debatable ;) Using right-click to open context menus is
common, see e.g. google docs. I know we have a bit of inconsistency between
old and new apps here, but we are working towards making all context menus
opening by right-click.
