Your assumption is right,

For all data elements in the stage, its based on Report date while for attributes queries uses the registration date.

Dear Stephen,

The aggregate query builder aggregates data on a daily basis so you have daily totals and depending on which period you choose to populate the in the dataset, it will add up all the daily totals to the period of the dataset. Say if you have monthly dataset being populated, it will add up all the days in that month and produce your monthly report.

Then later in pivot tables all the data elements will have totals according to the period and you can aggregate further upwards monthly to quarterly etc..

But as Morten shared, the aggregate query builder has been dropped and replaced with program indicators, so you may need to start thinking of converting you queries to program indicators.

What version of DHIS2 are you on? aggregate query builder has been removed for a few releases, and replaced with event (aggregate) analytics

All,

Wanted to confirm that when Aggregation Query Builder runs against Tracker Capture data, that the Report Date variable is used to determine the Period for populating the corresponding Data Entry form.

For purposes of this question, assume that the Tracker Capture Program only has 1 Program Stage.
