Information Use Academy, Kenya 2017,  3 - 8 April 2017

The East African Health Information Systems Program consortium (HISP Tanzania, HISP Uganda and​ HISP Rwanda) together with Kenya Ministry of Health and the University of Oslo will be hosting this 6 days training which combines principles learning, key concepts of Information Use, Monitoring and Evaluation in the context of public health and the tools in DHIS 2 to support these.

Through lectures, hands-on exercises and discussion with peers, participants will be well equipped to enhance the use of DHIS 2 in their daily work.

Our online Academy, to be launched in March 2017, will be an introduction to DHIS 2 providing:

- A working knowledge of DHIS 2 principles and terminology, with an overall understanding of how DHIS 2 can be used to collect and analyze aggregate and individual based data;




- A broad understanding of how DHIS 2 can be used to meet multiple health information system requirements. More information will follow shortly so stay tuned!
