The demo server has a time data element whose aggregation type is set to Sum and not none, so I thought Sum was supported.

We have a variable “walking time to a facility”, which I think can be averaged up the hierarchy and across time. 

We will write up a requirement for that.

we do not support aggregation of time value type at the moment (nor other data types).

Feel write to open an issue in Jira where you describe the requirement.
