Dear DHIS2 Community,

We are releasing today a new version of the *Data Capture Android App*.
This version is compatible with* 2.28, 2.27 *and *2.26* and comes with the
following improvements and bugs fixed:

New features:
- 2.28 servers compatibility (https://jira.dhis2.org/browse/ACA-142)
- Implements approvals. Read-only for already approved data (
https://jira.dhis2.org/browse/ACA-141)
- Implement expiry days. Read-only for already expired data (
https://jira.dhis2.org/browse/ACA-90)
- New period types from 2.28 servers implemented (https://jira.dhis2.org/
browse/ACA-89)
- Save button moved to header (https://jira.dhis2.org/browse/ACA-69)

Bugfixing:
- Misspelling problems (https://jira.dhis2.org/browse/ACA-91)
- New approval state "APPROVED_ABOVE" included (https://jira.dhis2.org/
browse/ACA-300)

You can install it through Google Play (Data Capture
<https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dhis2.mobile>) or
download the apk from Github (Data Capture
<https://github.com/dhis2/dhis2-android-datacapture/releases>).

with detailed information on the functionalities included in the App and
how they behave compare to the Web. (We recommend to download the PDF file,
internal links do not work if you open them online).This document is a tool
for implementers who need to understand if the App covers their needs and
respond to their configurations of DHIS2 in the web.
