The worst thing is that it does it for other users as well (populating my info). When someone else tries to edit a user DHIS2/browser does the same – replaces names and email with my details. Do you think it is still the browser?

Your browser auto-fills those fields. I've been having same issues, and using incognito mode helps. Worst of all, if your browser has your password saved, it will also fill in the password.​
