Autocomplete for Input

Dear All,

Is it possible to have autocomplete for input boxes in tracker data entry
form.

I tried having autocomplete on altearing html, but doesn't work
eg:

<input type="text" name="foo" autocomplete="on" />

Is it possible to fix this
