Hey Lamin,

Glad to see you got home safely. Yes‎, it's possible to use alerts to notify managers about stock outs. We have integrated this tool into the SMS based commodity management we are currently piloting in Nigeria. We actually showcased this idea at the Cotonou Academy as one of the DHIS2 use cases during the Bazaar sessions. Whilst we are not using any of the tracker tools specifically, conceptually it is possible to set up the alerts with data gotten through the tracker. Pls SKYPE me for more details.

Hi Lamin,

I know they have been working on SMS reporting on out of stock in 
Nigeria, but not sure if alerts are part of it. Maybe someone from 
Nigeria can add more about what they are doing? I think it would be 
interesting for a lot of people on the list.
