I cannot create Data element Categories and Category Combinations

Hi Everyone,
I have a list of data elements each disaggregated as 'New', 'Repeated'
I have successfully created the category options New and Repeated.

Next, I tried to create a Category into which I hope to add the two category options. However, when I open the Category page I see that the Category options selection box is empty and the system processing icon keeps rotating forever and as such I cannot create the Category.

The same thing happens when I open the Category Combination and Category Option Combination pages respectively.

I am using DHIS2 Live Version: 2.22, Build revision: 21760 and Build date: 2016-01-15 21:32.

Any help to resolve this would be highly appreciated.
