Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem with data elements in DHIS2 in version 2.20. I have a
data element in multiple data sets, and I'm able to enter different values
for the same organisation unit, for the same period in the different data
entries containing the same data element.

My assumption was that a data element can get only one value for one period
for one organisation unit, even if it's part of multiple data sets. In my
case, I would expect to see the value that was entered in the first data
entry for that data element in the second data entry. Am I wrong with my
assumption? Does that mean that there are additional dimensions of the data
element? Or maybe there is some set-up that I'm missing which allows all of
this?
