This course is designed for mid-level users of DHIS2 who are aware of basic
DHIS2 capabilities, and want to better employ these features to improve
their program performance. It will prepare training participants for the
topics and use cases covered in the DHIS2 Symposium, and provide them with
the knowledge and resources to put those lessons into practice.

The morning session will cover data analytics modules (pivot tables,
charts, and maps) and how to incorporate these visuals into dynamic
dashboards that inform program monitoring efforts. The afternoon session
will cover validation rules that automate data quality assessments, and
feedback loops that alert key stakeholders about the data which are most
important to them.

Each session will include worked examples, case studies, and realistic
exercises explored through a mock training database. Some technical
experience with DHIS2 system configuration is preferred, but not required.

The training will be provided by Akros DHIS 2 Training, now a HISP node,
working closely with both BAO and UiO.
