Re: Advice needed: Prevent UID edits in new Tracker Capture App v0.5.1
Hi Prosper,
Our live instance is using 2.25, but our test instance has been upgraded to
2.27. We have noticed that the UIDs are editable in the app with either
version of the instance. This was not possible with an older version of the
tracker capture app.
We have also had an issue with the system not being able to generate
reserved UIDs for offline use, but we assumed this was due to the server
being overwhelmed, or poor internet connection. We have upgraded our server
a number of times to account for unusual amounts of traffic. Users seem to
be able to download UIDs now.
The being able to click out of error boxes and edit anyway is a bug that we
have noticed as well and will be reporting to JIRA. This was previously not
possible with older versions of the tracker capture app.
Thanks for the feedback!
~Aimee
