Title:
Doc should provide guidance for network administrator

Status in “ubuntu-docs” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
In the "Printing, Faxing and Scanning" help. Section "1.2 Network
Printing" has the following note: "If you do not know the protocol or
details of your network printer, you should consult your network
administrator." More guidance is needed for inexperienced users, as
in a home environment, they may be the network administrator. A link
to some helpful guides would be useful here. I would suggest some but
can't since I can't yet print from my laptop to the printer attached
to a desktop when both are running Ubuntu.
