Title:
  IBM Java 6 install fails

Status in “ubuntu-docs” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Refer to: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Java

This documentation refers to ibm-java-ppc-jre-6.0-10.1 while IBM is
  offering ibm-java-ppc64-jre-6.0-14.0

The specific command line and error is:

  [16:05:40][james@g5-powermac:~/Downloads]$sudo ./ibm-java-jre-6.0-14.0-linux-ppc64.bin
  Preparing to install...
Extracting the JRE from the installer archive...
  Unpacking the JRE...
Extracting the installation resources from the installer archive...
Configuring the installer for this system's environment...

  Launching installer...

  ./ibm-java-jre-6.0-14.0-linux-ppc64.bin: 2506: exec: /tmp/install.dir.21644/Linux/resource/jre/bin/java: not found
  [16:05:59][james@g5-powermac:~/Downloads]$

  Curiously, /tmp/install.dir.21644/Linux/resource/jre/bin/java does
exist. I am not certain, but from the looks of the IBM documentation
there have been other changes to accommodate another distribution.
Apparently a VM or java session is trying to initiate and the java
installer applet is not finding its binary.
