Thanks for your report. I'm not convinced this is a bug, though,
especially not a bug in ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu).

http://askubuntu.com/ is one good place to ask for help with using
Ubuntu.

  L'elenco dei pacchetti o il file di stato non può essere letto o
  aperto (the list of packages or file status cannot be read or opened)

  Trying to install Google Chrome, Ubuntu software center crashed down.
  I can't even open it if I need to install other applications, it tells me "the application has been closed without any reason"
