Title:
Empathy not included, but Docs says so.
Status in ubuntu-docs package in Ubuntu:
Fix Committed
Bug description:
The official documentation lists Empathy as the default IM client, but
in fact, it's only available in the universe repository, and certainly
not installed by default.
https://help.ubuntu.com/16.04/ubuntu-help/net-chat-empathy.html
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ empathy
The program 'empathy' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing:
sudo apt install empathy
You will have to enable the component called 'universe'
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$
In the lower-right corner of that page, it says "To report errors in
this documentation, file a bug.". I clicked the link for "file a bug"
and it led me here. According to the included search features while
filing the bug, I'm the first person to report this.
Description: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
Release: 16.04
Live ISO on USB
