[Bug 1779547] Re: Super key documentation is not correct
Thanks for your report!
It's kind of embarrassing, but I think you are correct.
Since the page is from upstream GNOME Help, I have asked for help with
figuring out to which extent it's due to differences between Ubuntu and
vanilla GNOME:
https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-doc-list/2018-July/msg00000.html
I suspect that at least item 1. may be due to such a difference.
** Package changed: ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu) => gnome-user-docs (Ubuntu)
** Changed in: gnome-user-docs (Ubuntu)

Title:
Super key documentation is not correct
Status in gnome-user-docs package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
https://help.ubuntu.com/stable/ubuntu-help/keyboard-key-super.html.en
Provides instructions to change the super key functionality for Ubuntu
18.04 LTS < the release I am using
1. Open the Activities overview, then open the Settings.
(The activity overview does not open the "Show Application" to then open "Settings")
2. Click Keyboard.
(In "Settings" you must first select "Devices" > "Keyboard")
3. Click the Shortcuts tab.
(The "Shortcuts" tab is already open after selecting "Settings" > "Devices" > "Keyboard")
4. Select System on the left side of the window, and Show the activities overview on the right.
(It view is a grouped list with no left side navigation)
5. Hold down the desired key combination.
(Changing the key combination does not remove the super key from being bound to "Show the activities overview")
