Public bug reported:

I am using Ubuntu 18.04 desktop 18.04 Our company have more than 20 WIFI
networks, every time when I select the WIFI network on the toolbar or in
the setting window, the GUI will freeze. But the wifi selection works on
16.04.

Bug description:
