Title:
[1264 new] Mono: add Arabic characters

Status in fonts-ubuntu package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
I use vim with arabic support when i use ubuntu monospace font the arabic letters "interface" with each other and become unreadable ....
  check the attachment

This is because Ubuntu Mono does not contain Arabic characters
(compare bug 682317 for adding them to Ubuntu proportional), and
Ubuntu falls back to a font with characters of different widths (bug
  932958).
