Johan, everything looks ok for a new release.

Here's a quick summary of the current status wrt our previous plans
for 0.5.12 (in previous post 2005-12-19).

1. Make all modules support both 2D and 3D

Poisson, Stokes, convection-diffusion (sort of), Navier-Stokes all
support both 2D and 3D problems now.

Heat equation and elasticity solvers still dimension-dependent.

2. Specify the file name/format for modules

Done for some modules but not all.

3. Redesigned parameter system

Done.

4. Script visualize.py for all modules

Not done.

5. Update heat solver

Not done.

6. Change interface for boundary conditions

Done.

7. Fix Navier-Stokes solver

Done.

8. Finish chapter on linear algebra

Not done.

9. Finish chapter on PDE

Not done.

Let's release now, with Navier-Stokes the main event and have a round
of polishing and cleanups for the next release.
