The intention with the UFC specification is to specify a fixed format
for the code generation (in FFC and SyFi) and to be reasonably
conservative with updates. If you have compiled a UFC 1.0 form with
FFC, you can be sure that it will work with any future version of
DOLFIN that supports UFC 1.0.

We have had quite a few updates to the FFC --> DOLFIN interface over
the last couple of years which is reasonable since we are still
learning how to do things. But now we think we know how to do things
so we expect to keep the number of updates at a minimum.
